Hi,

Thanks for your positive comment!
I have not used Suse for several years, so I don't know if things are very different.
Did you get the cbq script from the iproute documentation just like my example in the post?
It might be a conflict between versions...

Hi,
very good and interesting article, thank you. I tried to do similar on SUSE 11.0, BUT I have neither of which did not work. Once enter the command cbq compile I get an error:

find: warning: you have specified the -maxdepth option after a non-option argument (, but options are not positional (-maxdepth affects tests specified before it as well as those specified after it). Please specify options before other arguments.

I know about the export option in LDView,, but I'm an old-fashioned command-line style person :)
But for those who prefer, using LDView is a good alternative to create the .pov files.

thanks for this, very useful.

whilst playing around with LDView i noticed that it had an 'export to .pov' option which alleviates the need for lp3 and lets you set the camera position easier than specifying "-cg40,45 -cpct10"

Both links should be equally used, but only if you have several simultaneous connections (like my example downloading with some torrent software). If you are downloading a large file from a single IP, there will be only one IP-to-IP connection that cannot be balanced between two links, as the sending IP can only send data to one destination for a single download.

With torrent software you will have many simultaneous connections, downloading different parts from different peers. In this case the balancing works fine.

First question you can ask yourself: What will I do with 2TB of space :) For instance, imagine that you want a media-server, with lots of movies that everyone on the network can watch. You'll probably need a folder like /srv/data/movies.
You can then create a partition on /sda for /srv/data
This is just an example... It ll depends on your needs!
