DeVeDe 3.16.9 released
DeVeDe is a simple to use graphical front-end for dvdauthor and vcdimager. With it you can create VCDs and DVDs that can be played on “normal” home players, from all kinds of video formats normally only playable on computers:
A simple menu can be created to choose the video on your home player.
Version 3.16.9 of DeVeDe was released a week a go and a package for Slackware can be downloaded from my site.

Great! I have resorted to burning the plain movie files as data after several attempts with tovid + dvdauthor + k3b. I’ll check this out.

tovid actually works fine as well, but you need the latest version (0.33) on Slackwware 13.1
Also be careful with dvdauthor – you will need a newer version on Slackware 13.1 with a small patch. The SlackBuild and the version on my site include this patch.
Thanks,
